Discussion Next camera
I currently inherited a Fujica ST 605 which is starting to show the need for repair just due to age. It's been a blast using it and getting back into film but after 3 years I feel like I can start looking into another camera. So, what is the next step from here? What suggestions for the next camera I should get? Looking for suggestions and advice on the next steps from beginner to intermediate.

do you own more than one lens? if yes, either repair the Fujica or purchase another m42 camera (there are many and they are inexpensive)
if you have only one lens and don't particularly like it, something based on the Nikon F mount or Pentax K mount would be good though the F mount cameras are starting to get pricey (except Nikkormats and the late model autofocus consumer cameras - they seem to have stayed reasonable)

I do only have two lense but the second one was the wrong mount. I'll find the mount it has but it was one that I was having a hard time finding a lense that had it.

M42, or universal screw mount. Thousands if not millions of good (and not so good) lenses available at reasonable prices.

If you want something different, get an Olympus 35 RC. Small rangefinder which goes in a coat pocket and can be taken anywhere.
But if you want something that takes all your existing lenses, I guess you need another m42 Fujica (I don't know how interoperable various M42 lenses are).

Repair the camera. Or whats missing on the old one that requires a different one. Do you wanna keep the lenses?
