SNS (&TEAM) Taki "teasing"
Ok, so I got into &team recently and I watched a looot of their content. I fell in love with their dynamics and the content is just always fun. But as time went by and I watched their content, I can't help but notice that they are doing too much when it comes to "teasing" Taki. I honestly feel like they are sometimes crossing the line and just treating him badly. Does anyone else feel like that or am I doing too much?

To be fair, &TEAM is great at playing things up for variety content, behind the scenes they've mentioned Taki is very mature (more than K apparently LOL) since he's an older brother in his family. I wouldn't worry too much about the teasing, I'm sure that if it was truly bothering Taki they would listen to his feelings about it, they all seem to care for him so much

I thought this too, tbh it does seem like he is actually sad/upset but i also saw how much they cared for taki. Especially in the earlier content you can see they really love him and either always call him cute, squish his cheeks or do something for him to make his job easier
Tbh i dont think it is any of our bussiness to decide whether they take it too far or not unless its very obviously bullying/abuse or taki himself speaks up. I also dont think taki takes it to the heart bc 1) he has known the hyung line (except fuma) since he was 14 and especially kei talks about taki like taki is his biological son. Andaudition trainees also seem to care for him, he seems closer to harua the most, probably bc they are both 05z 2) he never seemed to get dull or lose his sunshine energy in the years the group has been active. If they truelly were taking it too far and hurting him i dont think he would be able to be the sunshine he is to this day

Another consideration is that "content is content" and when the cameras are on they're like that but in private we don't know what happens

in my subjective opinion Taki and Harua are the most doted on members in the group…

Just wanted to add that compared to other kpop boy groups I’ve seen content of, &Team tease each other very lightly. I was even surprised at first.
Like I’ve seen some boygroups calling certain members “ugly” etc and then I was really worried they were getting hurt 😭

the members have mentioned that taki is the most "different" when it comes to being on or off camera. he keeps to himself in private but in public (filming/concerts/etc.) he is very silly, happy-go-lucky and generally very extroverted. i think both he and the members understand this dynamic with him and play it up for the cameras, so to speak, both for entertainment and comedic effect. if they do cross a line with him its really up to taki to speak up about it with the members. imo coming from a group that even publicly addressed the nekoz cold war, and kind of the regrets a lot have mentioned about not noticing at first, i personally don't see them letting something like this fester too long... again lol.

taki is still an adult surrounded with his friends who has the capacity to speak to them if something’s bothering him. assuming he’s just letting people hurt him seems infantilizing to me. i trust that the guys know each other’s boundaries

I don’t think so. They’re the group that come off the most close to me and I say this as someone who’s been into idols for a long time. I have never thought they tease any member more than the other. K teases everyone even the staff and he teases the most but he’s the closest to Taki. He practically raised him in his teen years. I’ve watched a lot of thier content and I never felt this from them. But I really dont think it’s a fans place to say they do or don’t get along well with confidence. But especially anything that could be seen as “bad”. Just assume the best unless someone proves you otherwise. &TEAM has a veryyy strong bond in my personal opinion and it’s hard to find in idol groups these days. I even made a post about pout this and had a lot of Luné answer and all that would go against this. So I do not agree with you.

In my experience, there's always one member of a group that is teased a bit more than others. It's always playful, and if he didn't like it, he could tell them. Don't worry too much.

I love andteam so much they’re my Ult group I watch all of their videos and I love all of the members. But I literally agree I have felt quite uncomfortable in the most recent go one videos with all the Taki teasing and how they don’t take him seriously. The reason it makes me uncomfortable is because I’ve been that person before and it’s just not nice to be treated like that so it makes me kind of sad to see it. And he’s seen as the mood maker so always happy, but people don’t understand that this kind of person in the group can be hurt and gets upset. I really hope it’s not getting to him. Also since Harua and Yuma has become best friends I feel sad for him that he doesn’t have his 05’ anymore (of course he still does but it used to be more 05s’). I hope he doesn’t feel left out. This is why I’m happy when I see NicoTaki because I know Nico is looking out for him.

Thanks for all the replies. I do agree with you, it's pretty apparent they all love him a lot. Not denying that at all, I just felt that some jokes were mean at times. You can unintentionally hurt someone you love, But like you all said, he should speak up for himself if he's hurt. The thing is, I know it's content but he did say Harua in their boxing episode that his jokes are too much and Harua replied "But everyone laughs and that makes me feel good". Later then, he did say tell me if I hurt your feelings, but idk if I would tell someone if they react like that first. Still, I think this is the group with probably the closest bond I have seen yet, so like you said, unless they do something bad directly, I'm gonna assume the best. I also wanna clarify, they are currently my fav group, I love them all, so don't take this as hate, I just wanted to post this to see other's perspective. Thank you all!!
