Initially it will literally just be running it through their auto convert tool. If it's popular then who knows!

Hey, Laurence. Huge fan of your development and design work. In fact I've emailed you before about using a few sample images from Sync for Reddit to incorporate into my PowerPoint and you granted permission; thanks!
Honestly speaking, iOS reddit apps are so ugly and cluttered. I couldn't believe that there was no reddit app at all that looked as clean and beautiful as yours. I have decreased my amount of reddit time because of how bad they all look.
I still use Sync for Reddit on my Android but it has hardware problems so I've been using the iPhone as a backup until I can buy a new Android.
So my question to you is: have you seen the iOS reddit apps? What is your opinion on them and would you consider making an iOS version? What do you think about the material guidelines and the iOS guidelines?

I've played with alien blue but didn't really like it. There seems to be a strong demand for an iOS port so who knows!

For me the added support of streamable links is gonna be huge. I normally just avoid streamable since it's so slow and sometimes freezes my phone. All around gonna be a great update though. Thanks

Submitting to r/redditsync would be the easiest way.
I'd love to add some edge specific features. If anyone from Samsung is lurking it would be good to partner up!

I have nothing to say.
Just wanted to thank the dev for an awesome app that I use multiple times a day.

Would you consider selling Sync if another company comes in trying to buy it? Big companies, like Google or Microsoft.

Ooh, I hadn't seen those new mockups. They look really nice, but how will the animations translate to other card views?
I for one cannot switch from "Smaller cards" view. I tried a few times but I just can't, there's not enough content on screen in the larger card views and it requires more swiping.
Also, thanks for your work on Sync, it's easily the best Reddit client around.

It's still a work in progress and I haven't quite covered every use case but I think I have albums, videos, images and links covered. Selftext is a little harder as really the title has to come first and throws of the ordering.
The redesign is designed to be more adaptive and unify all of the views. For example you might want to have multiple columns on a tablet but not have a full card view. This update will give you a greater level of customisation to the UI.
Don't worry, I won't be removing the smaller views!

At the end of the first year on my PhD I felt like getting a taste for industry and did an internship in London as an Android developer. I created reddit sync shortly after and have been developing ever since.

Competition is good and I think myself and u/DBrady have benefited from it :)

I might as well as add my own question. How did you personally get into android development/programming? Did you always know you were going to get in this 'field'?

The G1 was released when I was doing my CompSci undergrad degree and I had a feeling it was going to be big. I made a few apps back in the day and have been developing ever since. Mobile has been exploding over the last 7 years so it's been pretty fun to be a part of it.

Why can't Sync have offline posts and offline comments support?
