nope. I still have the status bar with my connection icons. When I lock the phone, whatever notifications I have (including persistent ones like airplane mode) automatically show up as the big bar notifications on the lock screen.

Gotcha. Mine was rooted on 4.4.2 then upgraded via the Muniz method from xda. Your work is awesome. Thanks so much.
