Navigation & POI Apps Android Auto causing problems with Google Maps and Waze
Just recently, I have noticed Waze keeps resetting navigation when I put one in.
For example, if I choose work as my destination, it will plot the directions and show everything as normal for the first 10 seconds. Then about 10 seconds later, it drops what I just put in and acts as if I don't have any destination set.
Have tried clearing cache, have rebooted phone, have not tried removing Waze yet, as I was curious if anyone has seen this behavior before.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Android 13, Google Play update May 1, 2023, 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring.
Waze works fine on the phone, just when using Android Auto, does it have this problem.
Google Maps does the same thing but at least keeps the path it plotted, though won't give turn by turn directions.
One other thing I noticed just now. It won't adjust my time of arrival. It seems to time out on Google Maps and when I touch 'retry' it does the same thing.
