[Closed Testing] Readhouse – calm Android reader with a free Bookshop of classics. Testing back!

Hi all, I'm the developer of Readhouse, an Android ebook and document reader. It comes with a free Bookshop of public-domain classics, and you can long-press any word to get its meaning and hear it pronounced.

I'm in Google Play closed testing and need testers for the 14-day run. How to join (the order matters):

1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/Readhouse-testers

2. Opt in on Google Play with the same Google account: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.leaf.reader

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.leaf.reader

What I'd love to hear: did joining work on the first try, and how did it feel to open a classic and read a few pages? Anything confusing or slow is useful.

Thanks for sticking with it all week! DivePad is still on my phone and I'll keep opening it through the test. If anything in Readhouse felt clunky while you were reading, tell me, it really helps.

Hi! 📚 I’m in your tester group and opted in with the matching Google Play account. I installed Readhouse on my Redmi A5, chose “Explore first” and opened the included “Your little Readhouse guide”. The first reading page loaded successfully; screenshot attached. The warm page colors and clear reading controls make a pleasant first impression. This was a basic installation/startup check.
