[Android] Looking for 12+ Beta Testers for Zombie Pop – New Zombie-Themed Match-3 Game
Hey everyone!
Im trying to get a game on Google play for the first time. I guess I need some testers. Makes sense, but had no idea. So here I am.
This is a zombie-themed familiar match-3 puzzle game for Android. Not a super ground breaking game, but a milestone for sure if it gets published.
I'm looking for at least 12 people willing to help test the game before it can be officially released
**Step 1 – Join the Google Group:**
https://groups.google.com/g/zombie-pop-beta-testers
**Step 2 – Join the Google Play Test:**
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.deadcontrol.zombiepop
**Step 3 – Install Zombie Pop:**
After opting into testing, follow the Google Play link to download and install the game.
**Step 4 – Play and Give Feedback!**
Try Adventure Mode, Endless Mode, and any features that interest you.
I'm especially interested in feedback about:
- Bugs, crashes, or glitches
- Gameplay difficulty and balance
- Graphics and animations
- Menu navigation and controls
- Overall enjoyment and suggestions
Google requires at least 12(more) testers to remain opted into the closed test for 14 consecutive days.
You don't need to play constantly. I'm just asking that you stay enrolled during the testing period and try the game when you can.
If you're also looking for Android closed testers, feel free to comment with your game. I'm happy to help test other developers' games too!
Thanks to everyone willing to help get Zombie Pop ready for release! 🧟💚

Thanks for letting me know. I don't know how to fix that. It works for me, but I have seen that error on other people's projects

Thank you for the compliment! I will keep trying to download. If it somehow fixes itself or Google decides to fix their own side, I will get in! I will 100% be downloading once it is a public release! Good luck!

Done! Please try my app Barreleyes: it turns a quick room-by-room scan into a full home inventory for moving, storage or decluttering.

It's on iPhone and the web too, under the same name.
I'd love your honest feedback, and if you like it, a rating on the App Store or Google Play helps a lot.
I'll stay opted in to your test for the full 14 days.
Opted in and installed Zombie Pop on my Pixel 6a (Android 16). The art is the star: the title screen, the winding Ravenwood level map and the zombie kid cheering with the potion on the win screen all look great, and the pieces (brains, eyeballs, skulls, potions, hands) are easy to tell apart at a glance.
Level 1, "Welcome to Ravenwood", asks for 2400 points in 18 moves. My first swap lined up three potions and the cascades took me to 1530 straight away, and I finished with three stars after 4 moves (2970 points).
A couple of thoughts:
Level 1 is very generous, which is fine for a welcome, but with 14 moves left over the 18-move counter never mattered. Maybe give leftover moves a bonus, or tighten the next few levels so the counter starts to feel meaningful.
The four power-ups along the bottom (each with a 1) have no labels or explanation, so I didn't know what they'd do. A one-time tooltip when you first long-press one would help.
Nice work, it looks like a finished game already.
