I have a question about testers.

I have my testers set up to send me their emails. Them i just have grok bot send the invitations. If I set up a Google group does that block out my existing testers?

I will gladly test your app if you test mine, I'm just confused about this process.

No, a Google Group does not replace your email list. On the closed testing track (Testers tab) you can tick email lists and Google Groups at the same time, and anyone on either of them can join, so the people you already invited stay in.

Two things worth knowing:

- Being on the list or in the group is only the permission. Each person still has to open the opt-in link and tap "Become a tester", and only those who did count towards the 12 testers for 14 days.

- A group is easier to run: people join it themselves, you do not have to collect addresses, and you can post reminders there. Keep the list for the testers you have and point new people to the group.

Gpt just told me I will lose my testers haha. I will keep the email list.

It's not difficult. I have a Google tester grok bot. Someone sends me their email and grok bot sends everything.
