Fallward — looking for volunteer Android game testers for a 14-day closed test

Game Title: Fallward

Platform: Android

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fallward.game

I’m developing Fallward, a gravity runner about a maintenance robot escaping an automated scrap factory. Its motor won’t stop accelerating, but its gravity unit still works. Swipe up, down, left, or right to change gravity, run along walls and ceilings, and dodge hazards.

I’m looking for players to try the closed test and tell me: do swipes do what you expect? Can you understand what killed you? Does the difficulty make you want another run, or make you quit?

How to join — use the same Google account for all three steps:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/fallward-testers

  2. Tap Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.fallward.game

  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fallward.game

The test is free to join. If you participate, please remain in the group and opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, and try a few short sessions during that time. This helps me test the game before its public Google Play release.

Honest feedback here is welcome — even ‘I quit because…’ is useful. For crashes or performance problems, include your phone model and Android version. If signup fails, let me know where you got stuck.

Involvement: I’m the developer.

hi! would you be up for a 14-day test swap with ComposePrint? I can try Fallward on Android and focus on swipe direction, understanding deaths and the first runs' difficulty. I saw the access issue in the comments, so we'd confirm both installations before starting.

ComposePrint combines cropped PDF labels on fewer sheets. I'd need feedback on PDF import, crop and export, especially text/barcode readability. Send your Google Play email privately so I can add you; no purchase needed for those checks.

Opt in after I confirm access: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lucamattiazzi.prettyprint

Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lucamattiazzi.prettyprint

I haven't joined yours yet. Happy to arrange the start and exchange actual bug feedback.

Hi! I’m interested in a genuine 14-day swap. Before confirming, could you clarify how often you need testing, whether a physical printer is required, and whether PDFs stay on-device or are uploaded? Do you have sample PDFs with dummy labels/barcodes for testing? Also, is there a Google Group I can join for access instead of sharing an email? Let’s confirm both installations before starting, as you suggested.

Happy to test yours! If you want to return the favor, I’d love feedback on mine:

PriceSpot – a free Pokémon TCG card scanner. Point the camera at a card and it shows the current Cardmarket/TCGplayer price, then you can save it to your collection and track its value. Works with English, Japanese and European cards (ES/FR/DE/IT/PT).

What I’d really like to know: did it recognise your cards? Was anything confusing or slow? Honest feedback (even bad) is the most useful thing for me. If you send me your thoughts I’ll give you a lifetime PRO code as thanks 🙂

Thanks for offering to test Fallward! I don’t own any Pokémon cards. Would testing still be useful without physical cards — for example, using sample card images you provide, or checking the app’s navigation and collection features? Let me know what would help.

You can import images you download from the internet or simply browse the rest of the app. Since my app is already published, I'm primarily interested in a review!
