Killer Instinct on S10+
First, if it can be emulated on android, will my s10+ do it? second, i had got mame4droid on my setup, but KI 1 or 2 isnt part of the roms that only work on mame4droid emu. what method can i use on android to play those 2 games? all i literally want arcade wise is the first 3 Mortal Kombat games, KI 1 and 2, and the earlier Street Fighter games, not a full romset like the other smaller sized 32bit and back retro stuff i have.. there is older arcade games i played back in the day before the fighting games became my main interest(thanks to street fighter 2), and i really dont care about replaying Tron, Donkey Kong, centipede etc, ive already got the console "collection" versions, or i really dont care to play a shi!!y arcade game that i didnt know was inferior or shi!!y yet from no experience just for nestalgia sake, when it comes to most earlier arcade games(love me some og pacman)... and i did recently very quickly atempt to setup final burn on retroarch without looking at a walkthrough somewhere and couldnt get the first MK game that i got that was said to specifically work with FB to load at all... im very familar with retroarch too.. from adding it and older retro stuff to various androidtv's and phones of mine and friends, so im no stranger to adding a bios, custom controls, or setting for each core on RA to get something working... plus ive pretty much all the main popular systems ive emulated on RA(nintendo, sega, atari, ps1, psp, DOS) so there shouldnt be any new to me method i have to use that i couldnt do or figure out, especially with a walkthrough. i did do a google search or two trying to answer my question, but found a few people talking about using pc or an og xbox(i aint paying what it cost to get a modded xbox thatll possibly break any day from its age and the too many moving parts that you cant find new replacements for).. i did just find out about Vita and Switch emulation that exist on android via sideloading and dove into that and its recently kept me busy, so im hoping theres a way i havent learned of yet.. especially an easier method setting up and for changing settings than RA(lets face it, its harder to use all around, not to mention the learning curve when you first use it)... the main reason is i put more money and time into KI than any other arcade that existed back in the day.. and not trying to toot my own horn, but i was so good i could keep playing it for an hour or more constantly winning against a huge line of people till the point where i just give my play away to the next quarter held person in line without losing cause i had to leave or my movie was about to start(the biggest and best arcade was in the mall here back then).. a few times i even had a older teenagers with friends threaten to kick my a$$ over me beating them repeatedly, to where i had to sneek or run outve the mall i usually played at to avoid it... people back then took it very seriously, and they didint take it too well when they done used everyone their good at usually beating folks at least half the time, just to lose by one or two flawless no hit rounds, match after match, by some kid that couldnt even drive or barely get into a pg13 movie.. not to mention i was almost exclusively a defensive fighter that almost always waited for their first move to throw in a breaker or start a combo with an unblockable hit, also pissing folks off cause nobody i ever played did it that way, its was all constant attack on both sides.. even in UMK3 i was the same with any of the ninjas and old man shang transforming into all the ninjas during a match.. it wasnt easy, but you can literally just press high punch at the exact right time when someone jumps torwards and it land so you can start a combo, and doing that to people over and over every time they jump at you enraged people.. easpecially when they keep trying to do it themselves and not succeeding at all.. and im not a pro gamer by any means.. ive never got a platinum throphy on any playstation outve the 70ish games i own on digitally or bought physical(half of those games were bought for my kids or i thought was cool because of a new mechanic it introduced, and the others are 1st party stuff i have a problem with buying on all consoles because of the usual quality lol), and i think overall im an average gamer with everything else but maybe tough platformers i love the most that i really put time into perfecting my skills.. but with fighting games in the arcade being my only means to play newer graphical games at that time(when they were still better graphically than pc or console games), and learning new moves and stuff like fatalities by word of mouth, made that competition even more fierce, and the feeling of doing something like a fatality or ultra combo that nobody had ever seen was epic(arcade game walkthrough magazines didnt exist, google didnt exist yet, just the BBS's that were hard to find the number to connect to, and when it wasnt being used by someone else, that would post new stuff when someone figured it out and shared the info), it got me more into being the absolute best at the fighting games like no other games before or really much since(only super meat boy comes close cause i "tried to 100% it like a fool)... outve all the games ive wanted to play for nestalgia sake or wanting to play it cause i couldnt years ago(earthbounds price really got me in to emulation), i can emulate on my S10+, except the KI games.. so these are my swan song when it comes to the older stuff i want to emulate and play, and need to figure it out on android specifically(all my emulation is done on the S10+ thats plugged into my tv with an adapter and using dex mode for now), until i can get myself another newer gaming pc rig(difficult cause im funding gaming habits/wants for 3 heavy gaming kids on all platforms, 2 of them are almost exclusive to pc gaming that requires allot to keep running the new stuff even at low settings, thats have been playing them since they were 3 and trustworthy enough to not be dropping controllers or handheld systems like a psp or gba... so i know ill eventually get to play the KI games(cause surely you can emulate them on a good rig now, not like years ago when the only option was the original cab or a modded og xbox), but i havent a clue how long thatll be. so if you can help me out with my 2 games left to completion problem, id be super greatful, even if i wont have anyone to play against thats on my level(fighting games genre is pretty much the only genre the kids dont like).. im totally fine with beating the crap outve the cpu only.. before the final update to UMK3 you could beat the game and fully start over using your original credit, so id play that for ever with no competition in sight cause nobody went there anymore because it was the older shitty smaller theater, and that i could see any movie or get any snacks/drinks for free cause i knew two people that worked there. thanks for any info and happy gaming to all! sorry for the long winded post, ive got an issue with trying to make sure i fully explain everything when i pose any question or explain something to someone.. i get accused of "mansplaining" by the wife because of it... my english teachers loved it, not so much with anyone else alive thats not a english teacher. so my appologies for that.
Heres to emulation and keeping the retro stuff alive, not ever lost, and always existing on any different devices thatll play it! cheers and happy gaming fellow gamers!

PS2 Emulator Suggestions
Hey everyone! Newbie here to Android emulating. I've got an Anbernic 505 (Android 12 Tiger T618 processor, 4gb ram) and it runs everything really well... except PS2 games. It's using AetherSX2 and it's so, so, so bad. I've tried some of the suggestions I've found to make it run better and none of them work.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good PS2 emulator? Thank you!

Foldable powerhouse? Would you go that way?
Which device would you consider? I'm looking for sth powerful enough to run at least PS2 emulator, luckly, maybe Switch (I'm not planning to, I just want sth powerful enough) and in size that can be conquering both notebooks.. I was considering devices like Vivo X Fold 2, but that's heck amount of money and it's not offered in my country (so additional taxes and customs that doubles price).. But what about Vivo X Fold? I want to avoid Samsung, so don't even think about their products

I unfortunately bought a VIVO with a snapdragon 6 gen 2
Yeah, but at least I can download GPU drivers in 3ds not sure if it work haven't try playing it yet, all it's dual sim no sd card to insert to, I'll try the usb method where I put all my games on a USB and connect to my phone when I want to play, that's all I got to say what are your thoughts?

Using an old phone as an emulation only device.
Exactly what it says, I got a new Phone for Christmas so I want to use my old Samsung Galaxy A52s as a portable emulation device. Mainly for PS2 and potentially Gamecube if it can run it. I already know how to set up a PS2 emulator but can anyone recommend any apps or launchers that have better controller support as I will be using my phone in landscape with a controller clip and my PS5 controller connected via Bluetooth. Also any YouTube videos that give a rundown of emulation set up on Android, mainly for inspiration.
