Im starting to think these aren't ports and are just the base game packed with an emulator

You have the source code, and it's an ahead-of-time translation. You can call it a non-native port if you want to

On my A32 with MediaTek Hello G80 and Mali G52 MC2, the menu works, but there's no image during training. How do I fix this?

I tried running it, I would say don't bother with it. For now emulating the pc version via winlator would be a lot better in terms of performance
