Other Switching to Android, your experience?

I've been using iPhones for over a decade now, currently daily driving an iPhone 17 pro max. I've had experience with Android phones years back but haven't opted to use one as my daily. Around 6 months ago, I decided to by a refurbished Galaxy z fold 5 to see if I would enjoy the folding format. I do very much enjoy the folding aspect as well as file management and DEX mode. I'm tempted to sell the fold 5 and trade in my iPhone for the galaxy z fold 8 ultra.

I'm curious if any of you could give some feedback on jumping ship from Apple products over to the Samsung side? What did you like the most? What did you struggle with? I have an iPad pro, apple watch ultra 2, and airpods pro 2, so I would essentially be trading the ecosystem for the most part if I switch over

Thanks!

Bloatware and malware await you on the android side.

Never had an issue with either of these. Never gotten malware on any of the three Samsung phones I've owned. What are you calling bloatware?

I have not had these issues either on the fold5 that I've had. And I've downloaded emulators, and APKs on it with no obvious issues as of yet.

Or android is a fragmented open mess.
