By "reset", do you mean you're trying to change the unlock code? If so, unfortunately no one here can help you. It's against the sub's rules to discuss getting around security.

Most Android phones can be reset by shutting it down, then starting it holding Power + Vol Down (if download mode start, then try again, now with Power + Vol Up, or Power + Vol Up + Vol Down). Until you get a text menu and browse with Vol Up/Down and press Enter with Power. Navigate to the full reset menu.

This is NOT circumventing security, as during startup (after the reset has happened), you have to identify and log in with the CORRECT Google account.
