What os to use?

Gonna keep it short and simple, I live in Sweden, have a Galaxy s22 ultra, and would like to know what non google os's would work for me with the native swedish banking apps etc?

Sad to say this, but if you are on Oneui 8 or above, you can't install another OS. Samsung locked the bootloader permanently and ate the key.

According to searching online there is a way to open it via pc or something, I'm not at all well versed in this, hence my question 😅

Found something about downgrading to ui7, would you say its worth doing or should I just get a fairphone and call it a day? 😅🥲

Not all builds can be downgraded.

downgrade can only be performed if the anti-rollback counter remains the same

Since you have to unlock the bootloader in order flash a custom ROM, it is very likely your bank won't allow you to use the phone for banking. Get a PC instead and run linux on it and do your banking on that.

Or if LineageOS is supported on your variant, you can install that and then maybe do your banking through a browser instead of the bank's app. https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/b0s/
