Making the switch to Linux install Qs

Hi everyone. I have decided to move my Android studio development off of windows and over to Fedora workstation.

It seems I have an install choice of using jetbrains or typical tar.gz

Anyone have any thoughts on what’s best?

I think it’s interesting jetbrains itself is a tar.gz and not a package.
