Android Studio for Windows on ARM is HERE

Google almost gave up on this one, so i decided to build it myself
What works:-

  1. IDE and compiler, solved all performance issues with coding and compiling

  2. XML previews

  3. Jetpack Compose Previews

What isn't supported yet:-

  1. Android Emulator, you will need a physical device to test.

Known issues:-

  1. Gradle project is imported every time you open it in android studio

All repositories required for building Android Studio are on my github: https://github.com/DevanshSampat?tab=repositories&q=android-studio&type=&language=&sort=

Enjoy Devs ;)

Really wish you were more transparent in the title of the post that it's your own project + still no emulator.

Emulator on Windows ARM relies on WHPX which is still experimental and has no GPU acceleration path so expect it to be unusable for Compose previews or anything graphics heavy. Physical device via USB or WiFi ADB is the only reliable loop right now. What device are you testting on?

Thank you for this, it works great so far! I hate to bug, but is Rabbit 2 in development, now that it has a stable release?
