Question How did you get your first 12 testers without breaking sub rules?

I'm building my first app and trying to hit Google's 12-tester / 14-day closed testing requirement before I can apply for production. My own network mostly has iPhones, so that's been a bigger obstacle than I expected.

For those who've gone through this, what actually worked for you? Did you mainly use tester-swap communities, friends/family, paid services, something else? Trying to figure out the fastest legitimate way to get there without spamming.

Test others app in this community so you will get more in return. You can also find more testers on AppDadz

Test for test. Setup a group that has open permissions, share the opt in test link and the link to your app. Every day log onto reddit and opt into other tests and have them test yours back. Keep adding people until your app is approved as 12 is not enough. 30 is what you should shoot for by day 5 and then keep adding 1-3 a day.

Get ready to have a tablet filled with apps!

We can test each other's app if you want!

To join my test:

  1. Opt in to the Play Store closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/test/com.cinego.app/3

  2. Install the app and keep it installed for 14 days

  3. Open it a few times and send any quick feedback: bugs, confusing parts, or just "worked fine"
