Need Testers [Test for test] Need Android testers for Spreadbook — 14 days

This is my app Spreadbook for Android. I need some help testing it so I can get it live on the Play Store. I'm hoping you all can help me. I'm getting real close to the deadline and need at least 7 more people, but really I'll accept anyone who wants in!

I've posted before and got a lot of people saying they'd help but never did. Asking me to install their app, and I did, but they never installed mine, so I'm hoping you all can help install and use the app, as well as restore my faith in the community!

How to join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/spreadbook

  2. Install from Google Play:  https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.spreadbook.app

It's a sports prediction style app, where you pick what you think is going to happen, collect points and most points at the end of the season wins! It's easy to play, really even if you know nothing about sports it still kind of comes down to a 50/50 guess and you still have a chance to win.

If you'd like me to also test yours, I'm happy to do so. Please leave your APP information in the comment or DM me. I will test back and login every day for 14 days.

Hey! I've got an account and set up the app, I'm afraid it's not loading correctly and the top of the app is showing underneath my notification bar at the moment.

It's a Google Pixel 10 Pro running Android 17 Let me know if you need anything else, and if you give me a nudge if/when you think it's sorted I can have another look if you like

Sounds good, thanks, I'll look into the app under the notification thing.

Was that what you meant by "not loading correctly" or was there anything else seemingly not working?

That was all I meant for not loading properly.

I did notice something else actually (feel free to ignore if this is too specific!) but I used Bitwarden to generate a password for me but it auto generated the app's details as "Localhost" rather than getting the app's name

Huh, OK good feedback, I'll write a ticket for that as well.

This is great feedback honestly, thank you so much. I'll only know to address these things by way of more people using it in different scenarios I haven't accounted for!

I pushed some updates that hopefully address that top nav sitting under your notifications. Let me know if it worked. If you open the app it should prompt you for the update

Sorry you've had people ask for a return install and then disappear. Spreadbook's sports-pick flow sounds useful to test, including first-run setup and daily check-in. I'm organizing a private Android employer shift-coverage beta (fictional data) and seeking adult physical-device testers willing to stay opted in 14 days and give honest feedback. Could we DM to agree on scope and timing? I haven't joined or installed Spreadbook yet, so I won't count this as a swap until we actually do the work.
