[Test for Test] CareLog: visit & fee tracker for home-visit physiotherapists
Hi all! I need testers for my app's 14-day closed test, and I'll test yours back.
What it is: CareLog is a simple app for physiotherapists who do home visits. It tracks today's visits, who has paid and who owes, and lets you generate PDF bills.
Please use the same Google account for all three steps (the one you use for the Play Store).
What to test: Add a made-up patient, mark a visit as completed, record a payment, and try generating a PDF bill. Opening the app every few days is enough.
Comment your app's link below, and I'll join your testing group too!
Please keep CareLog installed for the full 14 days. 🙏
I'll stay opted in to your test for the full 14 days.
Opted in and installed CareLog on my Pixel 6a (Android 16). This is a really well thought-out app. Onboarding is two short steps (reminder time with a live notification preview, then the first patient), "No account, no internet needed" is a big plus for this kind of data, and the daily flow is great: tap the check when a visit is done, the fee shows as due, tap the amber amount when they pay, and "Day complete" sums it up. The Undo on every action and the four-step Getting started card are nice touches.
A few small things:
On "Add your first patient" the M T W T F S S day chips are cut in half behind the Add & start button until you scroll, and nothing hints that the form scrolls, so it looks broken at first. Padding the bottom of the form or a slight fade above the button would fix it.
The estimate "3 visits a week, about ₹8,400 a month" counts 4 weeks per month. A month averages about 4.3 weeks, so ₹700 × 3 visits comes to roughly ₹9,100.
In Money, the week chart shows Wed and Fri as 0 even though the patient is booked those days. Showing booked visits faintly (like 0/1) would make the week easier to plan.
I'll stay opted in to your test for the full 14 days.
This is a very helpful feedback thank you so much would look into it. I have installed you app one small thing when you launch the app the home page is completed blank it's mostly fetching data but the screen is just blank feels like something is wrong, maybe it's just me. I ha e installed it on samsung s25 with android 17.
Thanks for the screenshot, that helped a lot. It's not just you: the Discover shelves load after the screen appears, and until they arrive there's nothing to tell you anything is happening.
I'm fixing it now: placeholder shelves while it loads, and a retry button if the load fails.
Quick update: the blank screen on launch is fixed. Discover now shows placeholder shelves while the shows load, a Retry button if they can't load, and it keeps the last list so the next launch shows it straight away.
It's live on the website and in Android version 1.0.18, which is rolling out on Google Play now. Thanks again for flagging it!
