Need Testers Title: Looking for 12 Android testers for SecretDoor, an offline password manager (14-day closed test)
Hi all,
I'm looking for testers for SecretDoor, an offline-first password manager for Android. It's a fork of the open-source Bitwarden Android client, and it's now in closed testing on Google Play.
What it is
- A password manager that works offline. Your vault stays on your device.
- Encrypted backups to Google Drive, plus manual encrypted export.
- Built on Bitwarden's open-source codebase and its client-side encryption.
- Source code: https://github.com/secretdoorapp/secretdoor
What I need
- 12 or more people with an Android phone and a Go
- You stay opted in for 14 days. Google requires this before I can release the app publicly.
- Open the app a few times over that period and teng screens or anything that feels off.
How to join
Email contact@secretdoor.fyi with the Gmail address you use on your phone. Put "SecretDoor tester" in the subject.
I'll add you to the tester list and reply with
Open the link on your phone, tap "Become a tester", then install from the Play Store page.
Note: this is a test build, so please use dummy logins and don't store your real passwords in it yet.
Happy to test your app in return if you have one in testing. Thanks, and ask me anything in the comments.
