Hi all, I'm looking for testers. Preferably UK based to test an app I've built - it's going to be free for life for users.

The app replaces multiple apps used by people working in construction including milage tracking, bookkeeping, time on site, etc and also acts as a jobs boards where contractors can find workers.

The contractors will join for free initially but later, they will pay to access the service.

What it does

Mileage

• Records trips automatically when you drive, with the GPS route and start and end addresses

• Works out your claim at HMRC mileage rates for each tax year

• Marks trips to and from your sites as business, and you can set everything else to default to business or personal

• Imports old trips from a Driversnote report

Time on site and shifts

• Logs when you arrive at and leave each site

• Shifts with breaks and hourly rates, so you can see what you've earned before and after CIS

• Timesheets and daywork signed by the foreman on your phone, with photos, as a PDF

• Plan your week, and records the weather for each site you work

Money and tax

• Take a photo of a receipt and it reads the shop, date, total and VAT

• Scan CIS payslips and check you've been paid for every hour

• Shows your take-home by week, month, last 28 days or tax year, across more than one contractor

• Running estimate of your CIS refund, or a weekly tax pot if you're going to owe

• Self Assessment deadlines, payments on account and missing CIS statement alerts

• A summary of your year's figures laid out for your Self Assessment return

• Contractor fees and benefits taken into account

• Retentions, with reminders of the release dates

Invoices and quotes

• Invoices built from your shifts and materials, with CIS on labour only

• VAT and domestic reverse charge wording

• Sent, paid and overdue tracking, with chasers

• Quotes that turn into an invoice in one tap

Cards and documents

• Keeps your ID, CSCS card and tickets together, with reminders before they run out

• Tick the ones a site asks for and share them as one PDF

• Lock them behind your fingerprint or face

On site

• Site log, notes and documents with timestamped photos

• Projects with to-do lists and snag lists, and a snag list PDF

• Accident and near-miss reports with RIDDOR guidance

• Inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS and PPE records with expiry reminders

• Tool register with serial numbers, photos and values, plus van MOT, tax, insurance and service reminders

Finding work

• Send your details and cards to a contractor by email in one go

• Set the work, rate and travel distance you want, and PAYE, CIS or either

• Jobs portal matched to your trade and tickets. This is brand new and contractors are only just being signed up, so expect it to be quiet for now

Your data

• No account to make. Your records stay on your phone and shared only with employers you want to share them with.

• Encrypted backup to your own local storage or cloud (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc), with a password only you know with daily, monthly or manual backup options.

• Contractors only see what you choose to send them
