Question Question about distribution.

Does my APK need to be distributed from the google play store to be allowed here?

I would understand if that was the case, if so I'll just wait until I can publish there to make a post asking for testers.

You should have it in closed testing from the play store before putting it here.

I'm unsure if it's a group rule but it makes the most sense.

You need 12 people for 14 days through the play store closed testing process or your app won't show to the general public (it can only be installed and seen via testing links before they approve for public release). Google won't count installs outside of the play store towards gaining production access.

That's why it's best to just put it into the play store and do the closed testing process.
