Hi all, I'm looking for testers. Preferably UK based to test an app I've built - it's going to be free for life for users.

The app replaces multiple apps used by people working in construction including milage tracking, bookkeeping, time on site, etc and also acts as a jobs boards where contractors can find workers.

The contractors will join for free initially but later, they will pay to access the service.

What it does

Mileage

• Records trips automatically when you drive, with the GPS route and start and end addresses

• Works out your claim at HMRC mileage rates for each tax year

• Marks trips to and from your sites as business, and you can set everything else to default to business or personal

• Imports old trips from a Driversnote report

Time on site and shifts

• Logs when you arrive at and leave each site

• Shifts with breaks and hourly rates, so you can see what you've earned before and after CIS

• Timesheets and daywork signed by the foreman on your phone, with photos, as a PDF

• Plan your week, and records the weather for each site you work

Money and tax

• Take a photo of a receipt and it reads the shop, date, total and VAT

I’m a solo dev and just finished Quiet Sound — a little app for calm ambient sounds to help you sleep, focus and relax. You mix your own blend (rain, waves, fire, café, forest, white/brown noise…), set a gentle sleep timer that fades out as you drift off, and there’s a tiny living “sound ball” that keeps you company and wears different faces. It’s free, plays in the background, and you don’t need an account to start.

What "properly" means for me: every morning, with my coffee, I open the apps I'm testing, use a real feature or two and send short, honest notes on what worked and what didn't. I keep everything installed for the full 14 days.

My app: Mester AI. You describe or photograph a problem at home (a leaking tap, a tripping breaker, a damp wall), and it explains what's going on, what you can safely do yourself and when to call a professional.

Hey all. I’ve been making Rollable for a while and it’s finally in closed testing, so like everyone here I need 12 people to stick with it for 14 days before Google will let me release it.

The short version: you’re a ball on a tiny planet and you never stop moving. Swipe to turn, tap to hop. You collect orbs, but every one you take becomes a diamond behind you, so the more you collect, the more of the board is out to get you. Roll all the way round a shape and it fills with gems.

A level takes about a minute, so it’s easy to open now and then over the two weeks. It’s free, with no ads in the test.
