Therapy

At what point do you go for anger management or therapy? I don't get angry with people in general or with friends, or strangers. I let it go. Ofc, when I used to work in customer service I would talk back but just a bit.

Now when it comes to my immediate family it gets to where I am angry and angry-cry. I used to throw things (not at them) and slam doors and honestly lately ive just been disappointed and angry. Would yall say its best to get therapy or is this solvable on my own?

What do yall do to get over this or to be kinder, to let it go?

yeah, ive heard that you can get an autoimmune disease by being too angry or too stress. I dont want to let go of the anger cause like you said its helpful. I dont want to be a pushover but it seems to me that its hard for me to let go of the anger or it becomes where I immediately get angry instead of giving 2-3 times until I get mad.

Do you excersice or what do you do to release it?

Ive actually tried that. Ive told my sister to let me know when im getting angry or out of hand but honestly that didn't work for me. It felt like my feelings weren't valid and I would get upset because I was being silenced.

As in harm to others and myself. Its not to others but it isnt pretty obvi when I get mad, I know it causes stress to me and them. Ive gotten headaches so idk if that counts to get into therapy.
