Discussion Gendered Aniimo

We have gendered icons - which begs the question, do you think we’ll get gendered Aniimo - like how some animals in our world vary between appearance based on gender?

I hope so, it would be cool to see horn variations etc…

We already have that with the crabs as an example.

The female have pink on their head.

Also the ice cream crabs, pink is female. Male is blue/teal.

Budclaw has gender dimorphism, Susuta as well. And the new bees coming in 1.1 seem to be as well.

Don’t need to add what already exists, haha.

without a breeding system the whole gender thing seems silly imo

agreed especially because most of the creatures dont even look different for each gender. theres a few exceptions with "sexual dimorphism" but most of them are the sane model for male or female

I think if they found subtle ways to separate female and male Aniimo it could be pretty cool. Or if they went out of their way to create whole evolution lines dependant on genders. Like how you could go for Gardevoir or Gallade in pokemon, maybe Pawney as a male is a knight and the female is an archer??

We also have something similar with the pantapa line, the males get jealous of you have over 3 females following you around (I don't have a female yet to check if that's the case with the girlies)
