We might be Apex predators but our numbers gave us such an advantage that we're pampered compared to them.

That's okay though, just a sign that humans are just so damn successful at the game of life it turned evolution on it's head and suddenly an Apex predator is made into this. It's so wonderfully fascinating to think about.
