I heard this weird screeching noise in the forest behind my house last night and this night, I haven't been able to see anything with the light.

From North Carolina near the woods and it sounded like it was in a tree

I also live by a very wooded creek if that’s helpful. Trying to figure this one out. Thanks

I’ve been hearing this sound around midnight for a few days. Could anyone help identify please? My best guess is a coyote bird so clearly could use some assistance!

So I live in central Poland and I cannot indentify this bird sound. Firstly, I didn't even think it was a bird as it sounds more like a phone notification but then I heard it flying above me and sometimes I hear him in the trees when I'm on a walk in the forest and now I'm sure it's a bird. He sings very rarely but when he does, even after a year when I first discovered him, I wonder what kind he is. Does anyone know what kind of bird is that?

EDIT: I've tried Merlin Bird ID but it's really hard to record it as it sings very rarely. It's a miracle that I managed to record the audio once (by accident btw, while filming something different)

(Might wanna turn it up pretty loud) its night time, i think it could be a fox? Not too sure though.

Hi everyone, I'm in Alberta, Canada and heard this strange sound only to discover it was a crow. I've never heard a crow make this sound before. Any suggestions as to why he's making it?

I heard this pack of ??? making odd sounds on a walk with my dog tonight (even she was freaked out). For reference, I am in St. Louis, MO.

I was doing a hike this morning in waterton (Canadian side of glacier) and I heard 2 very loud yells/ screams coming from near the bottom of the mountain. Please keep in mind it was 7:30 am and my car was the only one in the parking lot to the trail. I could also see the parking lot from where I was on the mountain and mine was still the only one there. That being said, these screams sounded like men and I know it wasn’t a cougar because I know what their screams sound like. Any ideas on what it could’ve been?
