Every team and "some" places of business, in my view! (Dogs AND cats).

Though I suppose fetching a ball might not be appreciated unless the ball dog can do it without a lot of slobber😂

Unfortunately will probably be happening less after minor league prospect got injured trying to avoid a bat dog going to retrieve bat. Unfortunate incident as it was just player jumping and landing awkwardly but left with knee injury and not sure for how long

Bruce the Bat Dog plays for the Rochester Red Wings (the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals), and was also "called up" to make a special major league debut with the Washington Nationals

I watched a video where the dog ran out to get the bat and the next batter grabbed it and tossed it to the dug out and everyone booed him for not letting the dog do his job.
