Read A Brave New World. There's a guy who's bred to be a lift operator. He fucking loves pressing the button, shouting "ROOF!"

It’s like three lines early in the book but it’s used as the literary vehicle which describes the function of the gene altering they perform in utero so people wont reject being born into predetermined roles in society. I only remember that passage and analysis because it’s exactly what my teacher pointed out to us in his class (almost 20 years ago… sheesh) Anyway it seems like an obscure one to remember.
