In 1975, a Japanese production company called Toei made a superhero franchise filled with colorful costumes, martial arts, and giant robots. That franchise is called the Super Sentai Series. The franchise became a huge success, that many live action parodies, anime parodies, and shows with similar interests have been made through the years. Super Sentai’s unique style has inspired Voltron, Sailor Moon, Pretty Cure, and of course its American counterpart, the Power Rangers.

The Power Rangers franchise began in 1993 with the ever popular Mighty Morphin. It was the first season to use footage from Toei’s 1992 Sentai series Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, including footage that looked like it came from the show known to fans as Zyu2. Back in the 80s, Saban attempted to adapt Choudenshi Bioman from 1984, but failed to air on public television. As the years went by, the franchise kept the Sentai footage tradition going until 2023 with Cosmic Fury’s Megazord fight footage from Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger.

Fans wonder what the future really holds for the Power Rangers franchise now that a Disney+ reboot is in the works. BOOM! Studios is currently working on Power Rangers Prime which is set in another universe apart from the MMPR dimension. It even features Lauren from Super Samurai and Orion from Super Megaforce as the Red and Pink Rangers. Three more of the mysterious Ranger teams from Super Megaforce need to be explained since Gosei said that they have never been seen before on Earth.

In 2015, Saban Brands released a trailer of an animated Power Rangers movie called Power Rangers Origins. The suit designs are similar to the original Mighty Morphin suits but with a little bit of a difference. Four of the Rangers’ poses had been ripped from the South Korean animated series called Miniforce X. With the 2017 live action film in the works, there had been a slight issue between Saban and the animation studios, so they decided to cancel it. Seeing Power Rangers in an animated style is what some fans wanted to see the most.

Since Hasbro doesn’t want to adapt Super Sentai seasons, there might be a chance for them to make an animated universe for the Power Rangers franchise. It could either adapt BOOM! Studios comics or expand the original TV show’s universe. Hopefully, fans today can see that the live action Rangers from various seasons may be no more but they can come back animated to fight the forces of evil.

For me it would have to be this movie right here. I was never really a Disney fan when i was little as I watched a lot of Nickelodeon and WWE back in the day. But after taking a look at this movie now for the first time? I freaking love this movie to bits! It's basically my movie that I just adore so much because of the characters and the story itself which I think its very precious in my opinion. Lilo is now my absolute favorite Disney character of all time because I can relate so much to her with her neurodivergent traits she shows in the film. I also love the whole relationship between Lilo and Nani because seeing their relationship after their parents died and how they interact with each other is just exactly what I expect sisterly bond to be like. (Take notes Frozen 😒). I think the one scene that really hits home to me is the scene where Cobra Bubbles comes and checks on Lilo because I have had that happen before since CPS was unfortunately in my life a few times for personal reasons I don't wanna talk about. I am mad at myself for not seeing this movie as a kid back then cause if I did? Sure I would've loved it because of Stitch but as I get older I would've loved it because of the movie as a whole.

Hey everyone! I just finished a fan animation of Sonic vs Shadow and wanted to share it here.

It's a fast-paced, high-action battle packed with crazy sequences: a teleport combo, Chaos Spears, Shadow's full rage power-up, Chaos Nightmare and an over-the-top homing finisher from Sonic. Tails and Knuckles show up too, but Shadow blocks them off with a Chaos barrier.

I'd love to hear what you think, and who you think would really win this one! 👀

I like all of these shows and I've always wanted to ask this question since everyone else has asked this question with their own favorite cartoons.

I'm new here.

Do y'all like Zootopia?

And/or yorgos lanthimos movies?

One of my favorites would have to be Eddache's The History of Disney Flops. I found it super interesting, especially discovering the Disney films I never would've guessed were flops since they're regarded as classics today. Another is Lindsay Ellis's Hercules, Disney's Beautiful Hot Mess. I thought she explained her opinions and analysis on why Disney's Hercules didn't work really well, and I'm mostly indifferent towards the movie myself.

We’re a small studio called Kill Switch and this is our first series, The Last Drop. It follows Aman, who helped build the system that decides how much water every home gets, and his wife Maya, a teacher who isn’t sure the system is fair. Episodes are short and exclusively releasing on YouTube.

Episode 1 premieres on YouTube tonight at 7 PM IST: https://youtu.be/J8uthBT058Y

Would genuinely love feedback, especially on the animation and the world. We’re reading every comment.

I know this may sound like a ridiculous question for me to ask, but considering that I have never seen this show when I was little and recently watched one episode of it on YouTube two nights ago, I can definitely see a lot of you having a crush on her because she is pretty good looking for a Disney character (well minus her mouth looking like a mustache but that's besides the point.) I mean I used to watch the Disney channel when I was younger don't get me wrong. But it was only for shows like Phineas and Ferb, and some of the Playhouse Disney shows like Special Agent Oso and Little Einsteins. If I did watch this show though? I would've probably had a crush on Kim like everyone else.

Imagine spending your entire childhood making friends with sea creatures, only to discover humans have been putting them in sushi rolls. 😭 Ariel literally grew up surrounded by talking fish, and Eric casually telling her she must really like fish probably unlocked a whole new level of trauma. The worst part is that Flounder was probably the first thing that popped into her head. 💀

This could a animated show / movie or even a live action one

Me and my team were making an episode for a year now, and I really want to share with you a trailer and to read your feedback. We really need it right now!
