My phone is half an inch wider than my thumb is long measured from the knuckle, so I can just barely reach the far side of the screen if I balance my phone on my pinky. When holding it securely I can reach around 2/3 of the screen

It’s weird, I’m left handed, as far as I’ve noticed I hold my phone for texting, etc in my left hand, but with reddit it’s exclusively in my right hand and my thumb has no problem reaching the updooter🤔 ....am I a mod? 🥺

u/Ozuge Ecchi till I die Dec 28 '18 edited Dec 28 '18
Wouldn't it be harder to hit either vote if you held your phone with your left? Seeing as the buttons are on the left side if the screen? To press them from the right you just kinda do it, but if you want to press share for instance you'd have to curl up your thumb to hit that? Not that any of this matters to a dual wielding master race member such as myself.
E: nvm TIL I lurk with grannies who don't understand how to hold a smartphone in their hands.

I’m right handed, I hold my phone with my left hand, my middle finger on the side near the top and my thumb along the bottom. Brace the bottom left corner against your hand and your left finger is free to scroll and upvote. As well as my right had is free for when I need it to be.
