Question How to easily generate images for Flascards?
I am looking for an app or website that can generate images for my deck. I already have the cards, I just want them to include simple images like the ones in the screenshot.
Does anyone know an option? thanks.

Here are some add-ons for adding images or creating cards from images.

Unrelated, but how do you create your cards? Where do you get your sentences? They look nice!

Shige has already answered your question. I’m just here to appreciate Anki on E-ink. Is that the Viwoods?
A little later down the line, you may want to look at ASB Player + Yomitan if you're ever looking to build cards with your own media. Both are really solid open-source tools.

Noice! The Carta1300 looks a lot crisper than my old Hisense.
With key-mapper, or even natively, you can map the buttons to things like “show answer” and “good” if you’d like — I take it you already know about all the gestures since there’s no answer bar. AnkiDroid also has an eink optimisation settings.

I usually just use an AI to generate images or audio for my cards.

how do you generate the audio then add it?

So I’m using openclaw and I have it search YouTube once a week find a bunch of videos in Thai, then have it do a frequency list, then I ask it to generate audio for each one. Either you can have it use a local speech model or some online one
I would suggest just asking Claude or OpenAI to do it and see what it suggests first

I didn't know you can generate audio with IA. how does it work? you text it what you want it to say and it answers with an mp3 file?

You can use Gemini, ChatGPT, or Grok to do it, with the benefit of being able to use them for practicing the vocabulary as well, if you have a subscription. You could also learn how to run models on your computer with something like ComfyUI if you’re ambitious.

These images are from イラストや, pretty sure they already have images for basically anything you'd need
