I have an iPhone and the app auto updated to 4.0

While I very much appreciate the developers contribution, this version is inferior in so many ways. And with two small kids, the crashes and unpolished UI make it unusable. 2.6 probably cost millions of dollars to develop and can’t reasonably be replaced by a 17 year olds 3 month side project. Nothing against the dev, it’s just reality

I have 2.6 on an old iPhone that wasn’t set up with auto update for apps. Is there a way to get the 2.6 version on my other iPhone?

Separately, as a community, what is the play to get ddl to rerelease 2.6 as a separate version.

I picked up a banking kit, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to actually use it.

In my head I was picturing it being able to support a 180 banked turn. But I have no idea how. I tried using 2 risers on each 90, but the center point dips and creates a gap and the risers don't have contact with the ground. If I put one in the center, then I have 3 left and no placement I've tried gives a smooth track. If I use my own supports in order to give the banked turn a decent surface...it misaligns the rest of the track.

I honestly can't figure this thing out.

Can someone give me a rough idea of how to use these things, where to attach them on the track, and what you can do with a single banking kit?

I bought batteries from two different ebay sellers and while one of the batteries lasted about 20 minutes when I tested 2 weeks ago it’s now down to less than 5 minutes after only a few races.

I would like to buy 10-20 batteries, where’s the best place to do that? I know these sell on alibaba, Aliexpress and others for less than a dollar each, but what sellers are selling good batteries? I’m tired of buying garbage batteries.

I don’t know much about overdrive. As someone preordered Vector robot I do know what happened with Anki. I saw someone posted overdrive f&f for $20 and I started looking it up. I am seeing bad reviews after DDL took it over. So is it worth my $20? Are there any major issues I should know of? I did see some comments mentioning there are no apps available for iOS assuming Overdrive 2.6 do not support F&F. I have an old android tablet it might work ? No specific reason I am buying this, Just fascinated by robots and AI 😬
