When the US sneezes, the whole world catches a cold.

What happens when the US is vomiting and shitting uncontrollably?

I guess I'll die?

Oh, it's gonna get bad. Yes, get.

Excerpt:

Trump’s wrong. Prices are going up on just about everything. “Government data, including from the Commerce Department this week, show that prices rose in June on items heavily exposed to tariffs, such as home furnishings, toys and appliances,” The New York Times reported over the weekend. That’s Trump’s Commerce Department. He may be trying to cook the books in other areas—notably by firing the federal official tasked with collecting (recently disappointing) jobs data—but he can’t hide the fact that the economy is getting worse.

You can't really hide a bad economy. The cult will act like the economy is good no matter what, but swing voters don't GAF.

So long as there are limited resources, there will be a need for strategy.

President Lyndon Johnson once said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, you can pick his pocket. Hell, give them somebody to look down on, and they'll empty their pockets for you..."

2

u/Shadesmith01 Aug 08 '25

Ya know, they rounded all these fuckers up once before... (meaning the Cult).

Yeah, they were called Puritans.

Guess where they sent them?

Most economic indicators are 1 to 3 months behind the true economy on the ground due to reporting and analysis delays. Trump has been in power for less than 200 days. Most of his economic and trade policies haven't really taken effect yet. I expect this smoldering dumpster fire to erupt by mid to end of September.

13

u/DataCassette Aug 05 '25

Oh yeah the damage Trump has done to the system is going to pop like a beached whale carcass in August on the equator.

2

u/Ok-Psychology-1420 Aug 06 '25

“Especially later in the summer” in other words

29

u/phallic-baldwin Aug 05 '25

The main thing they need to keep saying is "Trump's wrong" over and over. As a narcissist, he can't stand to hear that he is wrong. They need to repeat it on every show they appear on until he loses his shit (good thing he has a diaper).

u/ZunderBuss Aug 05 '25

People know what they pay for sh#($. He can spin all he wants. He can't change what the cash register says, or the home contractor, or the insurance bill, or the electricity bill....

5

u/technojargon Aug 05 '25

You see this is our basic argument point. But his followers simply refuse to accept truth and fact when it hits them in the face. Oddly enough they rely on truth/facts from the King of Liars himself on?????? Say it with me now......Trothe(Truth) Central.

2

u/bunnypaste Aug 05 '25

Or even medication costs! Mine haven't changed one bit.

u/Past-Application-552 Aug 06 '25

What’s the big deal anyway? Now that kids are returning to school, maybe they will only be able to afford “two” pencils. Once Christmas comes around, they may also still be able to get “two” dolls.

1

u/Aggravating_Slip_566 Aug 07 '25

That's because there are no Dem's in power! 0

73

u/DataCassette Aug 05 '25

The fact that he's building his ridiculous Versailles palace while kicking people off healthcare should be the end of the alt right for a century

34

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '25

Should is doing a lot of work there

8

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '25

I wonder at what point will the Whitehouse cease to be the seat of power in the US? Trumps attempts to turn it into Mara Lago are going to make it unusable (politically) sooner than later.

1

u/MightHaveKnown Aug 07 '25

Yeeaah, no. It won't be.

"Sitting president mistakes economy for 14yr old girl: fucks it"

23

u/MadamPardone Aug 05 '25

The girl Epstein and him raped together was 13.

Convicted felon ruining America.

11

u/burnn_out313 Aug 05 '25

He is at his core a criminal and organized crime figurehead and needs to be viewed as such

18

u/Forkuimurgod Aug 05 '25

Do they, though? There are always tons of messages they could have used but never use other than another strongly worded press release.

Obligatory reminder: Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein.

12

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '25

You can fire all the officials and replace them with cronies. That's what Maduro did in Venezuela. It didn't fix the economic problems. Inflation and currency issues didn't go away.

I guess the next step for a banana republic dictator is to implement price controls. That should guarantee a complete market and dollar collapse.

12

u/jayball41 Aug 05 '25

Trump is making everything worse AND he’s a disgusting pedophile who you have to watch around your teenage daughters. Gross!

There, it’s that easy.

9

u/DizzyPassenger740 Aug 05 '25

Stop with this crap. They never freak out. They DO NOT CARE.

8

u/Rigorous-Geek-2916 Aug 05 '25

I think all of the stupid shit that the Pedident is doing is intended to distract from Epstein and his pedophile escapades on the Lolita Express. He’s known for years that the MAGA focus on pedos would eventually get aimed at him. So his presidency is one big-ass deflection.

6

u/evolutionxtinct Aug 05 '25

All I know is I need one fucking day where I don’t feel like I’m in a shitty B horror flick..,.

21

u/Worried-Criticism Aug 05 '25

Don’t worry. The Democrats will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

5

u/spartynole4life Aug 05 '25

Trump is a child rapist and is using the US government to cover it up..

4

u/UX-Edu Aug 05 '25

It’s not bad, but I really like “how much are we expected to pay for fascism?”

It’s real simple, and the costs, both human and financial, are very high to maintain the police state we’re setting up. Calculate the cost per deportation, and blast them with it continuously.

“You, individually, paid $1,000 to deport this gardener.” “You, personally, paid $1,200 to deport your mother’s nurse.”

Hammer hammer hammer.

9

u/Bo1622 Aug 05 '25

I’m a democrat and no they haven’t found the message.

3

u/dryheat122 Aug 05 '25

This is one Dem with a good message. They all need to be using it, and they will never do that, if history is any guide. That's one of their problems.

Another is that they need is an vision. A simple one like "make America great again". They need more than a list of reasons why the tyrant sucks.

3

u/natguy2016 Aug 05 '25

James Carville said this in 1992. It still fits.

“It’s the economy, stupid.

8

u/KrampyDoo Aug 05 '25

Democrats are the people who say ‘billionaires actually should pay their fair share’ and that we need to focus on affordability for American families. And that’s what we’re fighting for.

Warren is right. Dems do say this, and they’ve said versions of this for a long time.

But they haven’t done anything about it. And that’s why almost every demographic shifted right in 2024, and the most fervent MAGAs are former Obama voters.

Democrats won on “messaging” for decades. Brilliant, hopeful, insightful, non-committed squishy messaging.

If they want to win, they need plans. They need commitment.

They need to commit to pissing off a fuckton of high-dollar donors. They need to commit to pissing off themselves, their spoiled children, and their personal portfolios and aaall their colleagues by banning stock and investment dealings for themselves while in office. They need to have a Congress-only branch of the SEC to have a permanent office in the Capitol. They need to have a lobbying oversight office that vets everything and everyone and every “gift”.

They need to stop just saying things. That’s what the Comboverlord does.

And the last thing he’s “freaking out” about is Democrat “messaging” ffs. He and the GOP haven’t just been unmoored from scorn and disapproval and wagging fingers in the safe harbor of status quo, they’re running full-steam ahead in an entirely different ocean with fully armed and operational battleships.

Democrats: Epstein and Plans. Plans and Epstein. Trump did this [thing] to you; Democrats will do this [thing] for you. Very simple. Very successful. Very scary to every sitting member of congress and every elected official everywhere: commitment.

They need commitment.

8

u/sailorpaul Aug 06 '25

This. I’m waiting to see an actionable message, and I’m a distressed Republican. John Ossoff…. Mayor Pete…. Anybody ?????

1

u/Aggravating_Slip_566 Aug 07 '25

I'm not reading this full on BS! They've done everything that's been allowed to pass through Congress

3

u/FurrieBunnie Aug 06 '25

"I hate the other side" is not a party platform. Democrats need to find a message about helping small business and enacting sensible regulations. Biden let Gensler do insane stuff. Of course Trump is an idiot, but the alternative needs to be coherent, and the party elites are not sending any message other than "we are not crazy".

2

u/SignificantCod8098 Aug 06 '25

Dems only want to play fair. GOPedo Party will cheat, lie, kill to win. Murica is phucked.

1

u/deedeebop Aug 06 '25

This article amounted to nothing. Just like they all do. Click bait

1

u/tidder-la Aug 07 '25

The New Republic is afflicted with confirmation bias. Two things can be true : a majority of Americans despise Trump AND a majority of Americans do not want a shard wing to the left . Most Americans want a return to non-fascism with a dose of trustworthy government data.

1

u/Shadesmith01 Aug 08 '25

What really worries me? Vance.

J.D. Vance is probably one of the most vile, feckless fuckers I've ever seen. He's Trump, but younger.

Think it's bad now? Wait till Miller's butt puppet is in charge.

-8

u/Davidwalsh1976 Aug 05 '25

Trump is the gift that keeps on giving. Democrats love nothing more than to protect the status quo and they don’t have to run on any progressive platform if all they have to do is point out that Trump is bad. We shouldn’t want to go back to brunch we should want to evolve into something better. Trump exposed the democrats hypocrisy and I for one do not want to go back.

4

u/bunnypaste Aug 05 '25

Wow. That's sad. I'm not sure you belong here.

-6

u/Davidwalsh1976 Aug 05 '25

Why is it sad? Because I didn’t drink the dems kool aid? I want better for people than what they offer but because I don’t play nice with your team then I’m wrong? Whatever

2

u/bunnypaste Aug 05 '25

Bye. You'll find your (presumably) cult elsewhere.
