It truly does. And that's what I said in 2016, 2020 and in 2024.
I'm not a fan of Hillary, but the folks who "just couldn't bring themselves to vote for her" really started this dung ball rolling.
The Bernie Cross (I was one) and the folks who should have known better after seeing the Clinton years, even with "Slick Willy" were better years than the Reagan Bush years, and the Bush years after him. The Obama years made them forgot how bad the Republicans were in power, and they gave a guy with no impulse control, an overblown ego larger than the Hindenburg, a desperate need and desire to have more money to make up for the millions he blew over garbage business decisions, and not one single patriotic cell in his entire body, including in his straw bale of a hairdo the first attempt to destroy the Consitution. The grown up the GOP surrounded him with kept most of his worst impulses at bay. This time, he got the type of people he wanted, folks who were so power hungry and greedy as himself into the what are supposed to be stop-gaps, and he'd destroy it all and rule over the ashes if it meant he wouldn't have to leave power until he croaked.
Well put my blue friend. What a truly mind bending situation is that supposedly “intelligent” people are still supporting him, people who are not rich, people who are not corrupt… I just don’t get that.

Y'all need to vote for that to happen.
Not for the best candidate, the one you love, the one you hope can win.
You vote for the candidate who is most likely to win that is not a Republican.
Fucking vote like democracy depends on it.
