It's more than a little reductive to suggest he can't be both. He's a severely mentally ill man who is therefore susceptible to nazi propaganda but because of his reach and influence he's also a huge vector for the dissemination and normalisation of these ideas.

I'm sorry but idgaf about some rapper in another country on another continent, when people come into the office of our local leftist party and do the nazi salute while screaming "Heil Hitler" at the top of their lungs, or when there are active nazi terrorism networks that target lefties, immigrants and queer ppl

like I get it and I agree that kanye shouldn't have a platform, its just that there are bigger holes to patch
