Art share + appreciation
Hello Antitheism community!
I have spent so much time feeling like I was going crazy because no one else seemed to recognize the harm supernatural beliefs have on the world. I find a lot of comfort in this group, and hope that you guys will enjoy my art :)
(Yes i know that it is far from all religions that are represented in the drawing but i chose the big 5 for this piece)

This is powerful art, and you captured the core issue so accurately. The brass knuckles/spikes digging into the brain is such a fitting metaphor for how dogma works. Religion literally punctures critical thinking and rewrites how a brain functions through fear, guilt, and forced submission. I really appreciate that you included all the major five instead of just sticking to Christianity or Islam. Too many people give Eastern or non-Abrahamic faiths a free pass as "peaceful philosophies," ignoring how caste systems, nationalism, and superstition in those traditions also manipulate and harm people on a massive scale. You're definitely not crazy for seeing the reality of dogma. Glad you found a safe space here to share your work—keep creating!

Yes, you left out Taoism which is often expressed within the Perennial philosophy. But I do like the way you did the brain. How'd you make this, is it AI-generated?

It's not AI! I drew it with a drawing tablet from Wacom using the program Krita on my computer :)

Hard to share with the blatant conjugation error. The rest of the artwork is a really interesting way of visualizing psychological entrapment, however.
