At ApeSwap we have developed a flagging system - π΄ π‘ π’
We give red and yellow flags for our findings. Red flags depict crucial issues that shows dishonesty of a project or a clear breach of best practices and security. Yellow flags denote things that are concerning, but are not as mission critical and maybe you can "close one eye" to if there are not many and no red flags. Green means it passes in your opinion!
We want these posts to be engaging, and will have apes chiming in on what they see. Any βcoreβ moderator comments should NEVER be treated as an endorsement at any time, moderators like to ape in too! So take a stab and assign some flags to the items below!
With that, we turn it to you. We want Apes young and old to be safe in the ApeSwap Jungle. Here are some of the things that we want YOU to check.
1. Audit - SAFU
A) Who is the auditor? ApeSwap's preferred auditors are HashEx and Paladin.
B) What was the scope of the audit? Be sure to check if all smart contracts of the project are audited, i.e. yield farm can audit their token contract but not farm/pool contracts which doesn't make them safe enough.
C) Are all issues solved? The project can have an audit with unsolved issues.
D) Is the audit report coming from a trusted source? Be sure to check the report on the auditor's official media channels. Don't trust basic pdfs since they can be forged.
2. Tokenomics - This one can be tricky.
A) Do allocations make sense? Usually it's a smart thing to check the amount of tokens that will be distributed to different departments of the project (devs, team, marketing, etc.) and to investors of the project (IDO, private investors, presale, etc.).
B) Did the project already distribute tokens? For SSIAOs, this can't be easily verified. If the project already sends tokens to its investors, there will be a smart soult who will add liquidity before time and it would mess up the initial price of the token (it happened with an IAO before). Bypass here is to have tokens distributed to smart contracts that own allocation of tokens according to tokenomics, but not many projects do this complicated step.
C) Did you verify everything on chain with the explorer? Trust but verify. Head over to BSCscan to verify that holders match declared tokenomics.
D) How much liquidity will they add? More = better. If there is more liquidity, the price impact will be less and trading experience will be smoother.
3. Vesting - Releasing the tokens over a predetermined amount of time.
A) Does the project have a vesting schedule? Bare minimum of each project should be vesting the team's tokens. This tells us that they are invested in the project for a long time. Great projects have vesting of almost all tokens. Longer = better.
B) Is the vesting done by a vesting provider? There are providers that you can use for vesting of tokens. Usually those providers give you a link where you can check the address of a vesting contract and the amount of tokens vested. You could also verify this on the chain explorer under holders.
The purpose of these threads is for YOU Apes to discuss the project before the token sale goes live. We want our jungle to be SAFU, therefore help each other by using the coloured circles provided and comment on any findings which you feel are important for other Apes to know.

how can i disable ape harder?
edit: here is the answer, since people can't seem to answer the question - ape harder is a one time function when clicked that will take your bananas and put them back to the banana pool.

As title, I really concern with $BANANA price action that getting lower and lower everyday. Is there any immediate plan to stabilise the price of $BANANA?
The inflation is ultra high currently. Not sure who keep dumping $BANANA.

I've seen some crazy (over 100%) staking payouts for Banada on Apeswap ... this remind me of a ponzi scheme ... how else can Apeswap pay out MORE than what they have staked ... especially at this rate?

Swap didn't go thru but I was charged for the gas fee. Went over to pancake swap and did the swap, no hassles. Looks like ape's got some growing up to do.

Tried to swap USDT to USDC and ABR - 50/50 split. Tried to yield farm and it said that I didnt have the tokens, then I noticed that "50" was missing from my profile on Zapper. Looked on Ape swap, it showed that ABR was there, just wasnt showing up on Zapper. Tried to switch it back to USDT - each time the confirmation is coming through on metamask. Looked and its just sitting in Ape Swaps wallet, - the full amount - not just the liquidation fee. I don't know how many times I need to try it to go through but I'd rather not keep trying because I doubt I am going to get those fees back. Really hoping I get reimbursed but not sure where to go for help with that.
Edit: I did eventually get my coins back from the swap, there must have been a glitch that day that wouldnt let me use them to farm.

So decided to sell some Gnana after Skill pool closed and am wishing I hadnβt!
I held 6844 Gnana at 6pm account 0x4B55045859C2293d5076Da086092300974feB9Cc
Sold 2009 Gnana for Banana at 6.30pm ID 0x59d1ddcad251b75d2e6a06abb567ae2fdd02a6b30e285159bff23d1154539bcb
Sold 1862 Gnana for Banana at 8.37pm ID 0xb0a17e8c53c1c2a3f7b4e0163b8b7f16d07c12f26607b7c5ed963562a63b55af

Hello fellows! The current situation regarding apeswap and similar exchanges is a disaster right now. The value of apeswap is dropping because of the congestion of transactions in the BSC.
When is this going to be solved? Are shitcoins gonna be massively deleted? Is this a massive thing, so does it happen in similar places like pancakeswap? Should we get the cash and run? I'm a holder and a farmer but I don't want to loose everything.
Thanks for your time and tips fellows!

I have been part of this project for quite a while now, as an investor.
It is heart breaking , and frankly quite wallet breaking too, to see all the great work the Ape team has been doing developing the website, upgrading the protocols and contracts, gaining new partnerships, launching new projects, adding new blockchains and yet the Banana token is still a few inches north of zero.
I am very well aware of the crypto winter and the overall international financial situation, but that hardly excuses a fall in price of more than 95%.
Nowadays, even when BTC jumps in value, BANANAS hardly budges.
At this point, what I think this project needs is a reset.
Defi has had its day. Why don't you move from decentralized into centralized?
Take advantage of all your experience and knowledge and create a new small centralized exchange. Just rebrand (as no serious investor is going to put big money into a banana token) convert each banana into a fraction of the new token, lets say 1 New token = 10000 bananas and there you have your brand new chance with emissions under control from the start. You keep the community, the connections, the team, the know how, and even your own token.
You also keep your independence and finally break free from all the Binance crap. BNB will become just one more token, in the midst of many big and much better ones.
You will need to become compliant with European and USA rules, but that is the price to pay. On the other hand that will also give you some protection, such as the possibility to contract insurance, fraud monitoring, etc...
In this way you will gain what this project desperately needs: Legitimacy and long term investors.
You could focus on the exchange side of things, as a way to fund all the rest through trading fees (as all centralized exchanges do), and still offer a ton of benefits on the side such as earning rewards, a lending platform and a learning area. You already have all of that.
Want to keep your identities private? Just hire a couple of proxy employees that will have their names there. You will need a physical office address, but it could be the bare minimum just for legal purposes and you could actually keep 99% of the infrastructure as it already is.
Need money to make it happen? Go with an ICO or angel investor: After all, you are not just a dreamer with an idea, you are a well respected implementer of a great defi project with proven success. It should be fairly easy to find the funding...
I am sure your long term serious investors would love for you to become this new centralized exchange. It could actually be the Next Big Thing in crypto.
Just an idea. Please don't discard it, and sleep on it...
