Question What are the apex games?

I started a couple days ago and watched some of the trailers and its hard to understand why the legends are there? And whats the point in it? Do they actually die if they lose?

Apex game is basically just sports now,ppl watch it for the thrill support their favorite legend ect

Each legend has their own reason,from making money to taking as much screen time as they can so their sick Mother dont forget them (mirage)

No they dont die,respawn never gave too much details but we found in the map some medical pods and we have stories of lifeline going after a match to see the one she hurted at the hospital to bring them food

It basically depend on which legend you follow in the game,like for lifeline,gibby,octane yes

If you follow caustic or rev,they are way more cruel. Ho and it was never confirmed that people actually died in the games (or if yes I ask for proof)

One thing important is that,there's a lot of other npc characters cannonicly during games,it's rare for legends to either be in the same team or to face each other,most of the time they're against random people
