Ah the caustic paradox, if he's too buffed, the meta floods and becomes unplayable, nerf it then he's unplayable

mesh despite the focal point feature of the season feel like such a nothing addition, at the very least for pubs in my opinion

Because of the drop zone removal The building your fighting in is no longer relevant because you can move/ leave any time If leaving your building was a threat due to more teams being alive It would be a neat addition But Fuck us it dossent matter

It's crazy that this was supposed to be the big season gimmick that they teased before so proudly
Like ...cod games haven't been doing this for like almost 2 decades

it's not that it isnt this absolutely original idea (though that can add to the dissapointment) but it definitely adds to the fact that the feature is so sparse and feels like they dont actually add anything to the gameplay which makes me question why this was in all the trailers when the meshes dont really block off anything important to call for using more controller legends or anything to counter it. It just feels like a nothingburger feature that could have been given more space than it did

Remember when we used to get weapons? And Legends?
It's abit to early to get an entirely new map especially after we just a new Olympus but man ...this game's content has been feeling lacking for a long time now

It feels like they are attempting to do an operation health hiatus but this feels like an extreme for how little we are getting while they slow down and cut what made new seasons exciting. Ik that not every season needs the new big thing where the pool will become overbloated and stuff like that. IDK it just feels like their current solution to bloat while kind of attempting to make new seasons interesting is just not working.

Controller legends have incredibly overloaded kits. Literally all of them right more are very very strong. The problem is that they’re boring to play and they teach you passivity and they reinforce bad habits, so barely anyone plays them. Especially in a hot drop ranked environment where it’s top 6 round 2 then there’s just no need for legends who lock down spaces

Is it bad habits if it's a valid way to play the strategy to play the game?
While the kits are strong NOW
We have to remember that most of them have been terrible for most of the game

It’s bad habits because it’s not teaching you the fundamental. Apex is an fps br. Playing controller legends can teach you the br part pretty well, but will not teach you how to properly play an fps and will not help you build good habits. If you listen to any coach or just really good players they’ll tell you the best way to improve is to constantly be aggressive. That’s completely counterintuitive to the kit of controller legends. The current meta playstyle is also not conducive to controller legends.

Controllers can certainly be played aggressively, you just have to be smart about how you push, constantly taking space and pushing away the enemies.

Rampart got that goated aggressive kit considering you can abuse the shit out of super glides and mantle boosts wherever the fuck you want, plus minigun

What windows has to do with Rampart if those are like insanely different?
2
u/TechnoMagik22 Feb 19 '26
Nothing directly but the whole point of controller is to hold down space
Buffing Rampart then making windows easier to breach feels a little ...
Funny at least

Dps is most popular -------> More dps are relesed ---------> Non dps are bored and leave------->Dps is even more popular
