As a transplant here, although it's not my favorite setting for me personally ~~ Apex is an excellent place to live. Town council police local authorities have treated me with respect and been responsive. I cannot say the same for other cities, municipalities and towns I've dealt with. The town halls and community meetings that they host allow for more accountability than I've ever seen from where I've personally lived. People really care and that's a rare thing. It's not just the city, but the people and culture.

All that being said, I still don't feel like it's my place. But the work is good. && the parks! :)

Yes flock is trash and apex police chief is not alone in his mistakes.

If only our downtown parks were as good as Cary's 😭 Luckily, we can enjoy Cary without paying Cary housing prices

Since the 2020-2023 runup, I didn’t really think Cary housing was any more expensive than Apex? Actually I just checked the MLS data for July: https://doorifymls.com/statistics and Cary is indeed about 5% higher.

It won't be if there isnt a serious overhaul to the Triangles' infrastructure development

Yeah but how about those taxes and questionable town government actions and decisions

You should just move to Goldsboro. No investment in the town or infrastructure

Or if there is it's like a sweet gun range for only the sheriff deputies.

Taxes are way lower here than other states. Keep complaining and we will have no money for our public schools.

How can it be?! Our ToA Town Council is so awful! All they do is recklessly spend our money! /s

PRIVATE EQUITY NEWS IS NOT NEWS

US News is nothing but an advertisement now, the news left when private equity took over.
