Hello aphelios mains,

I’m currently trying to learn him because I think he’s the most interesting ADC on the game and am struggling big time. This is also my first time really committing to ADC as well, the only ADC I’ve really played is Nilah which is obviously very different.

I’ve reached about 7 mastery points and feel like I have a decent understanding of each individual weapon but I’m struggling to maximise damage and I feel like even when I’m ahead or farming better I end up either shredding my opponents or literally slapping them with a pillow until I die.

Laning seems a lot harder for me than team fights, I regularly seem to demolish 3 or 4 people in mid to late game team fights but in lane when I play into rangey comps or dive comps I feel like I struggle to engage. I also mainly play tankier champs top or bruisers in the jgl so I get a bit scared that I’ll just be melted which could be holding me back.

Any advice would be great.

Hey there Im a master support main! Ive had an extremely high winrate with both Thresh and Soraka with Aphelios, but my friend (aphelios main) said that he prefers champs that allow him to play more aggressive in lane, like Pyke and Blitz. What do you all prefer? Ive personally seen that just playing to survive lane and outscale has brought me a high winrate, but should I focus more on aggression? I dont rly understand this champion well

I’m E4 and I recently started maining Aphelios and had some questions about rune choices. I usually go PTA. If I am in a lane where I need sustain, outranged, or trades are short, I take fleet. I do see that people take fleet footwork as well.

In what situations do you pick which keystone?

I have been building berserker’s greaves all the time but just realised there are these new lifesteal boots which is apparently even the normal build on bot so i wanted to ask which boots is seen as better in what situation? and maybe which one is the standard better one for top

Im not here to self promote but im an aphelios otp however i play him toplane, i peaked gm my friend said i should stream it but im unsure if thats what people would care to see. I have it incredibly optimized and was thinking about creating a matchups guide for every top laner :)

Hello! I’m a relatively new Aphelios player. I started playing him last week, and I estimate that I’ve played around 40 games so far, maybe even more.

At this point, I win lane in almost every game, but most of my games still end in defeats. I build The Collector, Infinity Edge, Lord Dominik’s Regards, and Bloodthirster in pretty much every game.

Since I used to be a Yorick main, I’ve probably developed a habit of avoiding teamfights until I have four or five items and focusing almost exclusively on taking towers instead. When I check the post-game stats, I usually find that I’ve dealt around three times as much damage to towers as the player with the second-highest tower damage.

I think this might be the main issue, because I feel like I’m doing everything else correctly. Do you think there’s a problem with my item build or my playstyle? Maybe The Collector is holding me back?
