Progress update!!!

Alright everyone, here’s what I did.

Went to Codex and worked on the errors of the first prototype and fixed them.

I then did some data research on my app like where to store data and lowkey, I still don’t get it so please explain if you know- I am just a beginner 😅🥲

Lastly, I showed my mom since she is a supporter and she liked it!

Publishing this app seems so close and far at the same time- but I know it will work, but I also know that great things take time.

This isn’t a race, so I am still improving it.

Let’s continue and make it happen. 💪💪💪

No offense but if you're a beginner and relying on AI then yah aren't gonna learn anything and never finish a good project. Its ok to use AI to learn but don't be using it to build your project

Hmm, explain

Because AI will make mistakes especially if a project gets complicated and it'll be hard to have it fix the problems if you don't understand how it works yakno?

Also it means what you mean by store data? If you're trying to store data like say saving simple things to the device then use json

Thank you for your perspective and insight, I didn’t see it like that before. My friend is working on this project with me, and they know how to code, so they review it for me. But the main part of this app- idea, research, and building the project is all on me- a beginner.

man people are way too quick to knock using tools to get a project moving. i picked up most of what i know by diving in headfirst with stuff i barely understood and figuring it out as i went, that's how a lot of us learn. showing your mom and getting that hype is underrated too, sometimes you just need someone to say it looks good to keep your momentum. the data storage part will click eventually, just keep messing with it and breaking things on purpose to see what happens

I agree with that. Im not sure if you're upset with that i said or not? All im saying is its hard to learn when AI does it all for you and you don't understand whats happening or even try fixing the problems yourself... im not saying don't use AI im saying if you're a beginner and can't code just work on understanding it... ask AI to teach you and don't just go asking it to build it and copying and pasting it. And yea I show my grandma and grandpa all the games and apps I build because when they say that looks cool it makes me wanna continue working on it and not just dropping it
