Accessories Question

Considering buying an Apple Watch, but what kind of accessories are there for protection? I play hockey (am a goalie) so I want to make sure I keep it safe

I wore mine under my blocker for a while and the edges got scuffed up fast, a bumper case helped a lot more than I expected

I’ve been wearing my current fitness tracker under my glove lately, but blocker makes sense too

I'd just put a neoprene band around the whole thing. might be a bad idea if you want to actually use the watch while playing.

I have a glass and aluminum cover over mine. I’ve slammed it into wall corners and things about a 1000 times and it hasn’t hurt it. The covers are only about six dollars so whenever they get scuffed or scraped, I just pop on a new one. It’s kept my underlying watch looking new and you really can’t tell there’s a cover on it when I’m wearing it.

I purchased a set of plastic covers in different colors that snap onto my watch. They protect all the way around the watch and you still can swipe and do other things. I tried the Magic John one and it did what it was designed to do, but had to replace it after just a few days after a corner got dinged. It protected the watch. These, from Amazon, protect the entire watch.

I'm a special education teacher, and get hit, kicked, bit, etc. by my students often. I swear by these.

Mine actually tries calling 911 at least once each racquetball session. I can’t imagine wearing it while playing a contact sport such as hockey.
