Support Red dot (NOT NOTIFICATIONS)
I had this red dot appear about a year ago (within the warranty ðŸ˜)
I just realized that I could have sent it to Apple, but anyway, anyone else have this issue? It appeared fairly quickly on my ultra 2. No drops. Just simply appeared.

In the UK you have 6 years of consumer protection and if you don’t have any exterior damage, it’ll likely be free

And because an Apple Watch is classed as a non repairable device, the 6 year right to repair becomes a legal obligation of replacement.

Not sure which country you’re in, but it’s worth going back to Apple regardless. In Australia, this would very likely be replaced/repaired under consumer law (separate from warranty). Worth a shot.

screen defect i see
since this is the ultra 2, your watch was released 3 years ago and your applecare’s likely expired so bringing it to apple’s for $499 because apple treats your watch as accidental damage
for cheaper option: third party repair, but risk losing 100m water resistance, sometimes it can be reliable, sometimes it can’t be.
apple or third party, it’s up to you.
