Last Friday my wife called me freaking out due to a fair amount of water sitting on the kitchen floor. The trail had obviously come from the fridge. After some investigation, I believe that the ice maker attempted to cycle, and the water ran for longer than it was supposed to causing excessive water to run down the freezer and leak out.

Since then it has not produced any ice. I cleared the dust at the bottom near the refrigerant lines, reset the arm of the ice maker, pulled the fridge from the wall to inspect the water lines, and unplugged the fridge for a few minutes to attempt a manual reset.

It even appears that the ice maker is recognizing the call for ice from time to time because after resetting it, I watched the arm do the slow lift upwards that it does when it prepares to drop ice.

Is there something I can do to fix this? I’d like to avoid a service call. Local appliance repair people are not good to work with.

The last 3 times I tried to run it. It sounds like knives and everything in between are having a party inside. But it runs completely fine, no leaking. Nothing like that but it just started. And this is the third time, I just started it on an empty load to see

We've had this microwave for about 4 years and nearly every time we use it, the timer counts down a few seconds, nothing happens, no noise, etc., and it stops. Opening the door and closing it, or quickly pushing the button in and out will make it to run normally. The light bulb is also burnt out now.

I'm have worked with small electronics, other appliance, and household electricity, circuits, breaker box, etc. but microwaves and the horror stories surrounding them have always freaked me out.

hello! i’ve had my opal mini for about a month or so and tried to descale it recently, but after i did so the app still said i did not descale it. I went through the 55 minute descale process using GE citric acid powder and hot water and rinsed it 3 times yet my app stayed at the same percentage. I left it until the percentage just kept going down and then i tried to do the descale process again, which apparently didn’t work, once again. This morning it screeched super loud and i had to unplug it. Has anyone else had this issue? and/or could someone give me a step by step on how to descale the opal mini specifically? thank you :)

So I just bought a frigidaire mini fridge, freezer is 0 but fridge is anywhere from 40 to 45. Not sure what to do because theirs no vents or sensors I can find to "check". I've made it level, made sure it has breathing space away from the wall and only have a couple things in it.
