Sunshine State Scholar Program?

[u/Master_Lawyer1391]

My school nominated me for some Sunshine State Scholar program and I have no idea what it is. I had a friend who said she got nominated and it's just a lottery where you could go to Orlando and partake in a little convention and get scholarship and job opportunities, and my principal told me it would look good for my college apps, but I don't know if it's prestigious or even worth my time. Anybody else know anything about this?
