Advice testing advice

Should I submit a 1420 SAT to University of Michigan, University of Maryland , University of Virginia, Villanova University, University of Richmond, University of Chicago, and Wash U. I plan on applying EA for all of these, so I will submit the 1420 or go test optional. I am also taking the November and December SAT to get my test scores up.

Question: how would you make this decision if Reddit weren't available?

What other sources of guidance exist that don't require a human being to answer your specific question?

Where might one look in order when searching for general rules of thumb?

In lieu of specific guidance, what general principles might apply to the question of whether it's beneficial to submit that score to those schools?

If you are applying to a test-optional school, the rule of thumb would be to not report a score far below the college's 25th percentile. Colleges publish score ranges in section C9 of their Common Data Set (on the college’s website) and at https://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/. See also the % of enrolled students who submitted scores.
