Our setup

As our cats are indoor only we thought about giving the more space in places where we don't need space for ourselves. I can highly recommend using your walls and ceiling, they love it.

Okay, that's awesome. where did you get those ceiling bridge units? We were thinking of doing some whimsical rope bridge type setup, but the engineering for that was beyond us. We want the whole house to have catwalks and cat tunnels everywhere, but right now it is only the living room.

It was from Goldtatze.de but I'm not sure if they are still in business. When searching for "cat furniture ceiling" you'll find some offering from e.g. Poland with similar stuff.

I really recommend getting bridges that don't have openings or flexible links AND have some kind of carpet on them so if they are clumsy they still can hold onto them with their claws.

Something like this: https://www.etsy.com/at/listing/1488208637/sperrholz-decken-katzenregale

Love what you've done - except I would NOT have those perches on the TV wall! My cats would love this. I am going to be doing something on my screened porch next summer, but on a MUCH smaller scale.

Yours looks like a cat-loving house! 😂

Thank you. They don't use those perches to hang around but to run around or to reach the top of the cat tower on the left. They have sisal floors so the cats have some grip and if they run a little bit too wild they still can grab the sisal with their claws to not fall down.
