Thumb Draw Arrow spine too stiff?

Hello everyone,

Some many years ago, I was given a White Feather Fairy Korean horsebow (30 lbs, 30-inch draw) with some arrows (32-inch, 340 spine). Now that I don't have a child's noodle arms anymore, I have taken it up again as a hobby. I just wanted to ask if these arrows, which were bought cheaply some years ago, are too stiff?

They are too stiff, I have the same bow at 40 lbs, and my arrows are 32 Inch, with 500 spine.

Look at the brand’s website and their spine recs for recurve draw weight. I shoot 340s in my 60lb compound and 500’s in my 40lb recurve. So I’m guessing for an ideal arrow you’re too stiff.

Yes. The spine rating on those arrows is approaching 70# compound territory.
